Current university students and recent graduates interested in public service or government are welcome to apply for internships in Senator Nyako’s office.
The office offers full-time and part-time opportunities for all interns during the fall, spring and summer months. All internships are unpaid, however there will be a stipend provided along with a transportation allowance.
All internships are year-round so applications will be reviewed throughout the year.
Adamawa Senate Internship Program
An internship in the office in Adamawa will allow students and recent graduates to witness first-hand how Senator Nyako’s work impacts the community in which he serves. It will provide them with hands-on experience and opportunities to increase their knowledge of the functions of a government office.
Interns can expect to be involved in the special events and projects guided by the Senator. Administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence, writing press releases, and answering phone calls, will also be required from all interns.
Adamawa residents will be given priority for these internships.
